QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Ontario Provincial license as an Industrial Millwright (433A) is required.
- 5 years Metal Stamping and/or Robotic Weld manufacturing experience is required.
- 5 years experience as a Millwright required.
- Fabrication experience considered an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preventative maintenance, breakdown support and project-based work.
- Examine and repair all equipment when required for continuous plant operation.
- Responsible ensuring the preventative and predictive maintenance program for all equipment is executed.
- Troubleshooting of various pneumatic and hydraulic circuit systems (ex. feed lines at presses, straighteners, decoilers).
- Maintenance of various machinery, compressors, mechanical systems.
- Familiar with maintenance of facility HVAC equipment, overhead cranes, etc. would be considered an asset.
- Inspect facility equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and potential malfunctions.
- Small fabrication (welding/fitting).
- Conventional machining (milling machine/grinder).
- Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
SHIFT AVAILABLE
- Straight Afternoons: 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Friday.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
- $0.75 Afternoon shift premium.
- Company paid Healthcare Benefits after 3 months.
- Pension Plan available after 1 year.
- Personal Protective Equipment Safety Allowance provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Press Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the assigned press and recording periodic checks, for the quality of the product being produced. Full safety, quality and production training will be provided.
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS
- From $22.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience and skill
- $0.75 per hour Afternoon Shift premium
- Company paid Healthcare Benefits after 3 months

SHIFT AVAILABLE
- AFTERNOON SHIFT: 2:00pm - 9:45pm Monday to Friday
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Automotive metal stamping / manufacturing production experience is required
- Ability to operate 200 ton to 1500 ton punch press
- Experience with Linear Transfer System is an asset
- Familiarity with Quality Documentation / IATF 16949
- Understand basic written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks
- Valid Lift Truck Training is an asset but not required
- Valid Overhead Crane Training is an asset but not required
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- The safe and efficient operation of a 200 to 1500 Ton punch presses.
- Must meet assigned production quotas and requirements.
- Ensures raw material being used is the correct material and gathers all Receiving Inspection Tags.
- Ensure scrap is segregated from finished product, and all set-up scrap has been removed from the area.
- Work with QC personnel to ensure quality is maintained during production.
- Place labels on containers when prescribed quantity is reached.
- Maintain production logs and documentation.
- Assist in the set-up process.
- Maintain an organized and tidy workstation.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
